As many of you will have seen on social media last night, we are delighted to report that the Gents Newton Shield team made it through to the final last night with an emphatic 8-0 victory at home to Renfrew!
The final will now take place at Kilmacolm on Friday evening (10th July) against Paisley. The first match will tee off at around 5.15/5.30pm.
This is a huge occasion for the club, presenting the opportunity to win the title for the first time since 1967. The team have had a great season so far and their place in the final is well deserved. Members are welcome and encouraged to attend on Friday, and as much support as possible would be appreciated to hopefully support the team to a famous victory.
