Old Course Ranfurly’s Aidan O’Hagan landed his maiden professional win on Scottish soil at Newmachar after becoming the fifth different player to taste victory on this season’s Tartan Pro Tour.
O’Hagan followed an opening 70 on the Hawkshill Course at the Aberdeenshire venue with a 64 that contained an eagle and eight birdies. He then signed off with a 68 for a 14-under-par total, winning by a shot from John Paterson (67-68-68), with fellow Old Course member Robbie Morrison two shots further back in joint-third.
