During the last month, we have seen some fantastic social events being held at The Old Course Ranfurly golf club.
On Friday 24th February we had an excellent turnout for our monthly quiz night which this month was hosted by our quizmaster Donald Hepburn. Congratulations to the winning team (all 11 of them!) and for selecting MND Scotland to be the recipient of the £225 raised on the night.
The following evening on Saturday 25th February we held our sell out ABBA Tribute night where members and guests enjoyed an evening boogying away on the packed dancefloor to some ABBA classics. Whoever thought golf clubs are boring should come along to one of our social events!
Our First Ladies Social Event of the season took place with 34 playing members competing for the Trophy at a Quiz with Cheese and Wine, hosted by Lady Captain, Linda Anderson, and catered in-house. Congratulations to winning team Margot Maxwell, Fiona Daly, Anne Russell, Shirley Bell, Yvonne MacPhee and Valerie Mackinnon.
This year we would welcome all lady golfers to our Ladies Open on Thursday 6 July.
