Old Course Ranfurly Golf Club are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Scottish Golf PING Scottish Open Series event on 17th May 2023.
Launched in 2022, the series, sponsored by PING, is the first ever national multi-tee event open to all golfer types including club and independent golfers. Last year, the series was a huge success with leading global golf brand, PING, providing some outstanding prizes for golfers taking part.
The format of the event will be announced in the new year when Scottish Golf officially launch their 2023 Series.
Speaking on the announcement, Old Course Ranfurly General Manager, Graham Barr, said,
“It is fantastic for the club to be hosting one of the Scottish Golf PING Open Series events in 2023, and we can’t wait to welcome golfers from across Scotland.
“This is a great opportunity for us to showcase what we have to offer at Old Ranfurly, and we will aim to give competitors a fantastic experience on the Wednesday 17th May.
“The Series was a great success in 2022 and having attended several the events through my previous role working at Scottish Golf, I’ve experienced just how fantastic an atmosphere they had, as well as how great an opportunity it is for club golfers to play in a national event.
“I would like to thank Scottish Golf for selecting us as a venue in 2023.”
